I had used the RED 50-150 previously and decided to rent some serious glass. I also used an SXS PRO card and shot XAVC 1920x1080. The Angenieux lenses have a "look" to them. A warmth. Hard to describe but so some degree recognizable after a while. The camera loved this lens. The position of the zoom ring is perfect. The reality is I can't say ANYTHING bad about this lens. It's amazing. I used Slog2 for this video and found the range to be amazing. Coming from the F3 I was blown away by this camera even in MPEG2 (50mbps) but in XAVC its a dream. Watching images come alive in the post gave me the confidence to shoot a certain way. But I have a LOT to learn still but feel ok about this test video. Enjoy.
